As we keep exploring our new surroundings we will have many more pics to share! In the mean time we are embracing the weather, the sun, the snow, and the rain, sometimes all in one day.

John has the day off tomorrow and we are expecting snow, maybe he will have to go skiing!


We have now owned our house for 3 months, how exciting it has been! We have been greated by all our neighbors including this fox and her mate. They seem to have a den in the pine tree that stands 75 feet tall in the back corner of our yard. Surprisingly we see them often, but rarely get a photo op! John was at work so I tried to record the event on film for him!


We try to not disturb them but they are definitely not bothered by us. I took these pictures from inside the house standing at the Kitchen window, what a great spring day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well today is the first day that it is "safe" to plant in our neck of the woods, but they are calling for snow tomorrow?! Gotta love it. We went over to Mike & Millannee's to celebrate the 100th Aniversary of Mother's Day. Mike cooked burgers, brats, & hot dogs for the clan and the rest of the family all brought sides to round out a great spring bbq, horeshoes and all.
