This summer Lauren & I thought we would see how green our thumbs are and planted our first garden. Since it was our first attempt we thought we would have the best luck if we started small and with plants which had been started a couple of weeks prior to our purchase. We planted cucumbers, broccoli, 4th of July & Roma tomatoes, strawberries, jalepenos, basil, spinach, butter crunch lettuce and red leaf lettuce.
Of everything we planted only the strawberries failed to produce. I think it was in too sunny of a spot unfortunately. We'll chalk that up to being first-timers and learn from our mistake next summer.
